Principal casting announced for Brown's new musical, inspired by the popular 1992 film.

Inspired by the 1992 film of the same name, Honeymoon in Vegas tells the story of the marriage-phobic Jack Singer (McClure), who travels to Sin City to wed Betsy (O'Malley), his longtime girlfriend. Enter Tommy Korman (Danza), a widowed gambler who takes a shine to Betsy, on account of her resemblance to his late wife. Brown is the Tony Award-winning writer of the musicals Parade, The Last Five Years, 13, and the Broadway-bound The Bridges of Madison County. Bergman wrote and directed the film version of Honeymoon in Vegas.
The principal company will also include Tony nominee Nancy Opel as Bea Singer, Matthew Saldivar as Johnny Sandwich, David Josefsberg as Tony Rocky/Roy Bacon, and Catherine Ricafort as Mahi. The cast also includes Matt Allen, Stanley Bahorek, Tracee Beazer, Grady McLeod Bowman, Barry Busby, Daniel J. Edwards, Paige Faure, Leslie Donna Flesner, Gaelen Gilliland, Sarah Marie Jenkins, Max Kumangai, Raymond Lee, George Merrick, Mara Newbery, and Katie Webber.
Featured on the creative team are Denis Jones (choreography), Thomas Murray (musical director), Don Sebesk (orchestrations), Anna Louizos (scenic design), Brian Hemesath (costume design), Paul Miller (lighting design), Randy Hansen (sound design), and Bettie O. Rogers (hair and wig design).
No timeline for a Broadway production of the musical has yet been announced.
