As expected by many, 'N Sync reunited on stage Sunday at the 2013 "MTV Video Music Awards."

The four somewhat lost members -- J.C. Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass -- elevated through the stage during Justin Timberlake's performance.
But the guys were seemingly gone as quickly as they rose.

'NSYNC sang super-brief versions of their hits "Girlfriend" and "Bye Bye Bye" in between more recent Timberlake tracks.
The boy band, fronted by Timberlake, first formed in Orlando, Florida in 1995. They sold over 50 million albums during their time together, including moving one million copies of its sophomore album, "No Strings Attached," in a single day.
They have been on "hiatus" since 2002.
